I have a cayuga duck that used to lay pitch black eggs, now she lays white ones, I just laugh and say that her printer ran out of ink hahaha. It's a little early for your chicken to be "running out of ink" but you never know. I agree with AraucanaMama about the protein but I,
personally, would never in a million years feed a chicken raw egg (white or yolk) I made that mistake with my very first chickens and because of that experience, it can create egg eaters. If you can't collect the eggs within a very short time of lay, my advice is skip the raw egg, cooked egg is great, no problem but they know when an egg in a shell is raw and will think that they are allowed to eat their eggs. I can't explain how they know, they just do. I'm sure someone will disagree on that but I'm only stating my experience and the fact that I will never make that mistake again. Take it for what you will.
