A: For us, it’s all about the journey. As you know, raising backyard chickens is an exciting process – from connecting with your first baby chick to the first egg happy dance, and from helping your hens through their first molt to providing a comfortable retirement.
Through each of these key milestones, one thing is certain: quality nutrition is essential. That’s why we’ve worked on our farm to develop optimum nutrition for backyard flocks across the country.
Many of the tips that we will share in this forum are learnings from our own backyard coops on our farm in Missouri. Purina Ph.D. nutritionists, feed formulators and flock caregivers work with our backyard chickens each day. For us, life is just better with chickens.
