The hen has a nest of eggs that is kinda late hatching, (hatch day was Tuesday, 5/3) I notice she comes outside, digs a hole in the dirt then sits for a minute, makes a loud noise(chicken talk) then goes back to the nest.
Is she hot? Trying to cool off by digging for cooler dirt? she's been doing this the past 3 or 4 days for sure. Thanks, ~Julie~
