why do geese poop so much

and also my embden geese will be a year old in the spring and i was wondering if they would go broody and hach eggs.

Waterfowl relieve themselves very often. It's just a bird thing. Yes it's possible for them to raise goslings next year.

Geese poop all the time because they eat all the time. All that food has to go somewhere. I have read that embdens aren't always good parents so they may go broody or they may not, you'll just have to wait and see.
