I love chickens and have had them for forever.

But here recently and like 3 years ago we ere hit with MS.Curse the disease. My birds suffer terrible life (Some of them),and i'm sick of seeing it happen.I have read on the internet.Yeah i have read everything, and I HATE having suffering sneezing, cough, and can't breath chickens. It stresses me out the my grandparents will not let me find someone to kill them. What can I do to help control the disease,is it necessary to depopulate the sneezing chickens? Also, not a confirmed case of MS in chicks, but pretty sure it's pasing on should I begin treating them?

First of all, get your birds blood tested for MS and MG. A lot of respiratory diseases are incredibly similar while requiring different treatments. If the test is positive for either, try to get your hands on Denagard or Baytril. Dena will stop symptoms for a long time, and some studies showed that Baytril even had the effect of a potential temporary cure.*

I wouldn't be so sure what you have is MS. More likely MG but even that doesn't sound right. I've found lots of sneezing to be present at first infection, but most all birds who did not die (which has been most of them, it's not a very deadly disease) have recovered quickly and now show no symptoms. What you are dealing with could be a more serious disease.

*These studies indicated that after treatment with Baytril, MG infected hens ceased showing markers indicating that they were infected or infectious. However, when challenged with stress or another disease, markers returned and they again became infectious.
