over the past few months my hens have started to die all in the same way. The main symtoms are as follows:
Going off their feet - they just lie on the floor and won't stand up or try to move around. there isn't anything wrong with their feet and legs that i can see.
puffed up feathers

They still eat and drink but i have to take the food and water to them.

I really don't know what i am doing wrong it might just be old age as they are ex battery (warrens) so i am unsure of their age.

Battery warrens lead a pretty rough life and it may be that they just are worn out. But you should take one to the pathological lab and have a post mortem done. I am not sure what the name of the govt agency is for you as I am pretty sure you aren't in the U.S.. Here in Fl we take them to the state lab.

i think they are old because they have slowed down laying i hopefully will get some fresh cross breeds between the warrens and my old English game cockerel i heard that old english game hens are meant to be good layers but i don't know if that's true? If it is then a cross breed between a warren and old English game cockerel should be great for egg production.

Warrens, one the commercial red sex links, are like most such birds in that they are indeed susceptible to reproductive problems, egg binding, ascites, blow outs, and all the rest. After being pushed in a commercial hen house batteries for a few years, there's not a lot of gas left in the tank, I'm sorry to say.

puffed up feathers and going off walking is a sign of cocci

is there any blood in the poop?
no there isn't any blood in the poop i thought it could be this after talking to my uncle who has peogans, could it still be cocci even though there's no blood in their poop?
