Lol.

I have seen the light and it goes "quack". I'm a contractor and crazy enough, the fact that I have ducks has sent me a lot of business to fellow duck and chicken owners.

Today, I'm called to a house in a great neighborhood, great front yard with lots of flowers, carefully manicured. "Want to see me chickens in the back yard?" - Of course!

Chicken run, 12x20 stretch of mud and s***, no grass, lots of flies. Really????

What did I say? "Lady, lets put some sod down and get you some ducks. Fix your fence, keep your dog back here during the day. Herd them into the duck house at night."

Really, what do chickens offer that ducks don't do better?

And when I tell people that I have ducks, they ask me if they lay eggs too? My reply, "why no they don't, they just look like birds. And birds produce eggs. Nope, in fact, ducks are really mammals and birth their little ducklings like rabbits and horses. They plop em out as cute sticky little bird like creatures. And a female can't produce an egg without a male's sperm too just in case you believed the first thing I told you."
