Luna is a bit older than 1-year old.
She will frequently make a little whimpering sound while standing in one place for minutes at a time.
Unless there's an object in the way, she will almost always turn to the left.

Here's a video:

Did you check both her eyes to see if she has impaired vision?

She seems a little unstable, so a nutrient deficiency or neurological issue could be the cause or a stroke.
In any case she would benefit from deworming and vitamin B complex and vitamin E supplementation.

I would interpret the sounds she does as a little unsure and questioning.

She appears to be very friendly.

Thanks for the response!
Unsure about the nutrition aspect, 'cause the other chickens look and behave normally.
In the morning, she will sometimes hesitate to get down from the roost. Other times, she joins the others in the rush for the door.

Regarding eyes, what should we look for?

Chickens have strokes?!

You can shine a light in each eye and observe if the pupils will dilate and contract properly. Also move your hand on either side of her head slowly from behind towards the front /beak and watch if and when she reacts.

Put a treat down on the ground on her left side and then on her right side and observe how she reacts and if she is able to pick it up on the first try.
Chickens have strokes?!
Yes, even at a young age.
