i've found her stash she wasn't laying in the nesting box any tips on how to have her lay in the nesting box

Put some fake eggs in the box or make the egg boxes more secluded. She's laying in what she thinks is the most safe spot.

Don't take this wrong but is she blind? she goes to the darkest, safest place she can find so her nest won't be disturbed.

I found my one year old welsummer's stash. I took the stash and then didn't find any eggs for six days. I was devastated because I knew she found a new place to hide. Then on day seven, low and behold, she laid in the nesting box and she's done it ever since. She's been my most reliable egg layer, laying about six a week and they are huge eggs!
