I just reconnected with an old school friend from almost 30 years ago (OMG, am I really that old?).

There was a group of us who hung around together. I stayed in touch with two of them through the years, but lost touch with the others. Now that I have connected with this school friend, I am in the process of reconnecting with his twin sister and then we are down to just 2 missing members of our happy little group. Facebook is not so helpful in locating them.

I think I love teh google too. I may have found one of our missing friends. It has been in a bit of a round about way (I found a reference to her in some club, but no contact info for her, but there was an email of someone else in the club, so I contacted that person to forward the message) and they are 8 hours ahead, so I won't hear anything before I get up in the morning at the earliest. If it is her, then we only have one friend left to locate. That may be more difficult as her name is significantly more common.

I do love a challenge.

I know you can never go back, but I don't know that one can have too many good friends.

Who else has good facebook reunion stories?

I have found mostly high school friends and old church friends. My family stays in "picture" contact on FB. I love it.

Most of my Facebook friends are BYC friends. The trouble now is many people I went to school with 20+ years ago are finding me. They don't understand the chickens or the humor. Some think I'm weird. I love Facebook.

I just found my 3rd grade BF. He moved after 3rd and I never heard from him again. Found him the other day and he remembered things I had forgotten all about, it was fun.

Oh honey, they knew you were weird then too, no worries. Mine are amused I feed chickens in stilettos...
