Why is molasses-free chopped hay so hard to get?!

Can you get hay cubes? I used to know someone who soaked them and then fed them to her goats.

I think that's the best option right now. We'll see if she'll eat them after soaking.

The hay cubes are just not going to work. I thought they had long stemmed fibers in them but I don't see any after soaking. And I didn't realize they were so hard. They have to soak for hours.

My local TSC actually had chopped timothy grass in stock today so I got it. It's expensive but it's worth it for my special old sheep. It's hard to watch her walk so stiffly due to eating "junk food."
