why is my broody silkie still laying eggs.

i have a brody this is her thir time hatching a clutch she is sitting on 9 eggs 7 average size eggs and 2 of her own eggs then today she had 3 of her eggs under her i new she couldnt handel 10 eggs they all wouldnt fit so i took a gambel and picked out one of her eggs 2 trow away and lookaly it was the one she layed today she has been sitting for 2 days now Why is she still laying and will she stop

yes i am certain there not hers sheis the only bantam i have and she is in a seperate coopi move them when she started going broody.

she layed another egg again today can anybody tell e why and if it has happined to any of ye will she stop or will i have to taker it every day

Are you sure she's full on broody? Most of mine will spend hours in the nest box, or the night, in the beginning. Then go about their business, or lay an egg or whatever. Maybe she's still just "thinking about it."

`she is 100% broody she has been sitting for 5 days yesterday i had to lift her off to get her to eat she hasnt touched her food 100% broody
