why is my broodys comb getting black

so i have a d,uccle thats been broody for a week now and her red comb is starting to get black at the top she gets off the nest once a day but today she did not get off at all i might go give her some cooked eggs to try and get her off the nest but why would her comb start getting black is it painful for her should i put something on it. thanks for your help

Is she actively sitting on fertile eggs? If not, then you may want to break her broodiness. It's hard to tell, but it looks like she has some scabs on the comb? Could be from picking/injury or mosquitoes.
