Why is my chicken's comb pale

I like to take my chicken out once a week so while we were sitting on the bench. I noticed her comb was a pale-ish pink. I was concerned because I read somewhere that. When a chicken's comb is that color it means something could be wrong with them. But when she jumped off the bench and started wandering around her. Comb returned back to red. So I was wondering if this is a normal thing or if I should be concerned about it?

I wouldn't be overly concerned, but would monitor her.
