Why is my hen clucking so much?

I have a two and a half year old hen that is clucking like she’s broody. This is the only adnormal thing about her besides she acts mean. She has been broody before. Is she going broody?

Sure sounds like it...that low cluckcluckcluckcluckcluckcluck is a dead give away for me.
...and the crabbiness too. Once you've seen enough broody, it's pretty easy to spot...I can tell it's coming before they start to spend time in the nest.
