Why is my young rooster doing this

I have a 7 month old Rhode Island Red that breeds everything that it can get down to breed. The wierd thing it breeds my ducks everyday. Should I be worried that he doesn't know what he is supposed to breed?

I think your rooster just likes anything that is a bird, I've also seen it where the duck trys to breed the chicken too. If the ducks doesn't mind

I guess it's not a problem

Roosters breeding ducks-- not a problem. Drakes breeding chicken-- potential for serious problems. When nothing else is available, roosters have been known to attempt to breed plastic water jugs.

Yep- you're hand you're feet, anything that will hold still for 2 seconds. One of my roos had a favorite tree stump. He would molest that thing everyday
