Why is this thread missing the "Recent Images in This Thread" on the right side of the screen?

Some threads have the 'recent images in this thread' option.... some do not.

What I have noticed...

Pictures copied and pasted from non-BYC websites don't show up.
Pictures copied, linked, etc from BYC avatar albums, pictures albums, or articles don't show up.
Less than three pictures in thread don't display.
Pictures copied incorrectly from threads don't show up.

Let me know of you find any thread with the missing "recent images" , 'cause I'd like to investigate this further (the geek in me).
