Why no more eggs?

I apologize if this has already been covered. I’m still new to the forum. Thank you in advance!

I have two 20-21 week old leghorn pullets that laid their first eggs last week! I only got two, not sure if it was one of each or if one laid both. But I haven’t received any more eggs in almost a week. Wondering if there is something I did/can do? The weather has “cooled” but only compared to the Texas summer we had haha.

Any help is appreciated!

Is it possible they have found somewhere else to lay?

No they have a coup and run. I have looked around and not seen any in a different spot. I guess I could look again to make sure

Once my leghorn started laying there was a small breathing space the she was popping them out like a sub machine gun

When chickens first start laying it can be very irregular for awhile, give them time.

Hahaha that’s amazing!! Okay that’s what I thought I just didn’t know if almost a week was abnormally long. Thank you so much!
