why should i get duck

I have some chickens now but i do not know whether or not if i want to get some ducks. what purpose do ducks serve. chickens have eggs, do ducks have them?

Ours are of the entertainment with the bonus of eggs variety

they are extraordinary produceres of smiles on human faces...

and the eggs are fabulous...omelets! Yummy!!!!!

Ducks are gorgeous they have so much personality are are very smart too(well I think mine are)

they are so funny to watch, you will find that when you first get ducks nothing will get done at home as you way to busy just watching your ducks to cook, clean etc....

and have a harder time eating each other

Everything everyone else has already said so far except I haven't tasted duck eggs yet. But I certainly will next spring!! I didn't see anyone post this, but this applies to our ducks, I only have 2 and 14 others on the way. But they can be affectionate and cuddly.
