I feel like we all read the same instructions, most of us have the same crappy incubators (styrofoam), the same tiny fluctuations or other bumps along the way. Then I read folks who did just what I did (which is nothing special) and get way less hatch rates. I got 91% last time and I'm nervous I can't recreate this success this time but everything is identical. The only difference is the eggs. I got eggs from 2 different local breeders last time and now 2 other different breeders this time. Its also very hot out so I am leery about roosters being too hot to get the job done. We'll see. But it just gets me wondering, like success is just a fluke and I just got lucky last time. Or if everything is 100% perfect all 21 days then that actually translates to high hatch rate? I'm skeptical.
