the common thing that people see when they buy a new laptop battery is that it says e.g: 7 hours batter life~! but then below that in the fine print it says "this battery will last ____ computer 7 hours in standby[/] mode." which is where most people (including me
) get hungup.
And i understand that what you are saying is that your computer is telling you when it is on that it's battery will last it 4 hours. Which to it means that the amount of charge it has calculated, combined with the preset amount of time that ____ amount amount or charge should last it. So really your battery is buring out faster than your computer is programmed to understand that it can. There for you go like me
and get government supported hamsters to run in industrial high power producing wheels that have connected wires to run into your house and straight into your computer...... problem solved
