why won't my chicks come to me anymore?

they are 7 weeks old. They would always come to me when I called until this past week. Now they don't come... they run away! My heart is breaking. I loved that they loved me and that they would come when I called... and now they don't anymore... they run the other direction when I try to pick them up. I feel like perhaps they've had too much freedom free ranging or something. Like when they were in the house more than they were outside they wanted to be around me more.....

what can I do to get them to love me like they used to?

They go through the jitters as teenagers. They learn to come back to those whom wield the treats. Don't worry.

They're growing up and becoming independent!! I have some that will come to me and some that won't.

You should have seen the pandemonium when I grabbed a rooster today. LOL You'd think I was killing someone. Got all the chickens in an uproar!!

Bring treats and they will come!

so,I hope that they will love me again! I hope that they don't stay jittery forever..,.. once I do get a hold of one and start petting cuddling her they melt and are just happy... they just don't want me to catch them!
