Wicked me fell not so wicked!

I have issues with the people who live next door, one such issue is that they called the city on us about a rabbit hutch. My DH was talking to the nieghbor on the other side said he was selling his house in 3 months and our rooster is waking him up as he works shift work. My roo doesn't start to crow until after 8 am and the issue with him selling the house is that I don't know if the chicks will have finished growing in 3 months to become meat. I have 17 chicks but was planning on either selling or eating atleast 7-9 chicks. I was hoping recently to keep all 17 as a way to get back at the people next door who we have learned to despise but I think we will have to stick to our origanal plan of keeping 8 hens.
