Good morning from SE Wisconsin! It's a foggy day out so far, warm but gloomy. I slept in for the first time in a long time, made it until 8:45am! Most days I roll out of bed at 5:30am. Just thought I'd start a new chat and see what happens. How's your day going so far? Any big plans for this weekend?

Nice :) no idea the plans for the weekend. Hopefully will involve getting my car fixed up...it needs some love. May get up and get some tea going soon - have already done the morning feedings.

Darn cars, I've got to replace my front brakes fairly soon. I finished my morning chores as well. I usually let my dog out and tend to the chickens while he does his business

. I might just have a lazy day

Well I have to do a driving test end of the month (California doesn't think Canadians know how to drive anything but skidoos and dog sleds)...currently my car has no reverse lights, abs light is on...(possibly cause my husband decided to put tires from his old car...which are different sizes front to back...on my car...so that could be angering it...)

Told him I'd have to do some practice in his dually truck and do the test in that. "No no, we'll see if there's still that s70 (sedan version of my car, I have the wagon) at the junk yard!

(Which makes me happy. That thing is a beast
We all need lazy days from time to time :)

Haha darn Canadians lol jk! Reverse lights are kind of important! And a dually would be a handful. I love big trucks but I'm 5'1" so I tend to bounce around every time I'm driving a big truck lol

Currently watching a few episodes of Dexter. I think I'm going to move on to the new season of Orange is the New Black! I love lazy days!

Nice. I wish we had Netflix. Sadly the fastest internet we could get is only 6mbps....so I don't think we can run it off that lol.

There's a reason I always go for drive through parking spots! Lol.

Oddly enough the "what does your car need to take the test" working reverse lights aren't mentioned. Brakes, headlights, turn signals yes....

So I think hubs is going to try to loophole it. Sigh.

Yeah. I don't like driving the big trucks....I'm used to driving cars lol. My wagon is about as big as I like to get! When I first moved down here, we needed to smog and do a few things to the wagoon, so it wasn't road ready...his other car had no working speedometer...leaving me with a four door long bed ram truck. I took it out once and only once....and just started begging some of his friends if they were going out grocery shopping or anything if they could take me too lol.

Kinda wish I could have imported my car. Had a cute lil Mazda 3 hatchback. Fit me nicely fabulous on gas and didn't have to worry about oil leaks, reverse lights, random gremlins (wagoon is a 98.....gremlins are there lol) but it was a "unless you pay it off in full you cant". I still owed about 16k on it so...sold it sigh.

I'm working driving a van for a 4h student exchange program for a few weeks during my summer off from school. I did the same job last year. It's a lot of work, but fun. Today was just pick up and drop off to a local water park right in my town, so it was an easy day.

Tomorrow I have off so my mom and I made plans with my aunt in uncle to see the new Jurassic World movie and get dinner afterwards.

Good luck with that loophole prostar! I think it's a smart way to get around it!

And chickerdoodle13 I'm looking forward to seeing Jurrasic World! A friend of mine and I are going Tuesday after work. Let me know what you think!
