Wild Birds Are Piggies!!!!

So last year I had two thistle feeders for my yellow finches and I had to feed them every day (easily had at least 12 last year). So this year I bought my self a mommy's day gift of a regular bird feeder and some regular bird mix. I now have one chickadee, 2 purple finches, 4 sparrows, 2 morning doves and a robin. I have to feed them at least once a day. They're going to make me go broke....lol

Yes they will make you go broke!!!!! Little birds eat approximately twice their weight every day.

What makes it worth it is that my 2 year old will sit at the window for hours so excited about the birds. She used to want to watch pbs after each nap but now if their are birds out there she doesn't even care about watching curious george....lol. Nice quiet time.....lol.

That is cute!!! Everytime I hear someone say "She eats like a bird", I feel the need to let them know what they really said.
