I moved the girls out into the coop the other day and have been sending them out in the pen each day for awhile. They werent too sure about being outside at first. However now, they LOVE it. Ive been tossing them a handful or two of scratch grain every once in awhile when I go out to socialize with them. They love it. However Ive noticed so do several species of wild birds. I dont have the top on the run yet. I hope when I do it will put a stop to the majority of the seed stealing. Ive also talked a couple of house sparrows out of dining there with my daisy 760 who were also harassing some bluebirds. Im wondering though, are these birds a danger to my girls through disease? Should I stop giving them treats outside?
