Wild Turkey in my front yard! A movie.

Hello all. I know this isn't chicken-related, but thought some of you might like to see a movie of the wild turkey aht come to visit me on a regular basis. I've been throwing them cracked corn, and over time they have become use to me (and the corn) and come running now.

Not to burst your bubble, but don't let the Game & Wildlife people catch wind you're doing this. I don't know what their reasoning is behind it, but around here if they find that any wild turkeys have become tame and dependent on people for food, they'll destroy them. I think it has to do with them possibly becoming carriers of domestic birds' illnesses.

Cute! I thought that it was only one turkey I've never seen that many so close to town. We have a flock of three that live in a wooded area down the road. I only see them in the spring and late summer.
