Once your cockerels reach sexual maturity there is a chance that they will fight. It’s the nature of any mature, intact male animal. Your bantam isn’t going to stop and think, “Woah! This guy is so much bigger than me. I shouldn’t mess with him.” Once the testosterone hits, the only thing going through their little chicken brains is, “Mate! Breed! Procreate!” And they will take on anyone having the same thoughts.
