Will a chicken be safe in a large dog crate?

The predators I have are skunks opossums cats rats and dogs!! I have one rooster that has to sleep in a small dog crate inside his coop because I think a cat already ate his wife!! I am going to meet a lady to buy a healthy hen today but my new coop won’t be built until this weekend so she will have to stay in a large dog crate will she be safe!! The dog crate will be on the ground!!

A dog crate won't protect it from a raccoon or a large dog. I'm not sure if the picture is of the two birds or it's just unrelated but both of those birds are hens.

If the crate is in a predator proof enclosure...like a secure run or garage or inside your house.
