Hello all! I unfortunately found a wild rabbit carcass by my peacocks hang out area. They are free ranged. But the rabbits head and tail where separated from the body and nothing much was left. I didn't see them over by it when I came out. I was wondering if a peacock would do this. I loved that rabbit she has been here for years and has had many babies over the years here. My main concern is that a fox or cyote getting that close to my peacocks if it wasn't peacocks.

Definitely not peacocks. Would have been a fox I'm guessing

Sounds like the rabbit may have taken one for the team. 😔
I have a broad breasted white turkey who we kept for our 5 year old autistic son. He loves that turkey dearly he pets her and plays with her daily. Well she was out last night. I'm just glad she didn't get killed. I wished the rabbit hadn't either 😕
