Will a silky terrier attack chicks and chickens

I have a little 9 year old terrier, he is small and is very sweet. His name is Tony. He never chases the chicks or chickens but likes to sniff them then leave them alone. He follows the chicks around but just sniffs the chickens. He is terrified of my rooster. I have never seen him even try to bite them. He has no teeth and had to be pulled because his previous owner did not know that they were supposed to brush a dogs teeth. I never allow Tony outside with the chickens while I am inside. Would the chickens and chicks be fine around him? He is only about 9 inches tall and 2 feet long, Tony is really small. Would the chickens be safe?

While I am sure Tony is a sweetheart, he is still a dog with predator instincts. I would have to say yes to your inquiry, and NOT let him near the chicks.

I would not trust him near the chickens, especially since he is a terrier. I would also worry about the rooster possibly going after a dog that small.

Big true. He only attacks women and Vietnamese people. I am not joking. I think he is aggressive and I started working with him a week ago and now he is much friendlier. He has already attacked my mom 4 times. Now he has not attacked her since. I love little Koa
