will a turkey get sick if it is mixed with my other fowl?

I tried to keep my turkeys away from my chickens, and had to give up. The turkeys just kept moving in with the chickens. It didn't matter which pen the chickens were in, how nice the pen the turkeys had, or how much and quality of feed that I fed the turkeys in their pens, they always found a way back to the chickens.

They all appear healthy and happy, and the turkeys are good guard turkeys protecting the young chicks from cats and other predators.

Crazy turkeys, they have 18 acres to roam in. Yet they prefer to hang out with the young chickens in a fenced area.

Mine all hang out together. I just clean the run all the time. I just keep my fingers crossed.

And I'm with SoS, If you know your animals well, you will know if something is not right pretty quick.
