Will Broody BR hen raise day old Pekin's

I have a Broody Barred Rock hen and I was wondering if I could slip 2 or three day old Pekins under her, do you think she woudl raise them, it would be my first ry with ducks?

I think it would work. I did this as a kid, had a mixed breed bantam who raised two ducklings. I named her Duck Mom!

We stuck 3 guineas (they were one day old) under a Buff Minorca Hen and she kept those babies with her until they were 3 months old!! We were shocked LOL The Guineas are now 2 yrs old, the BM Hen is 3 yrs old and the Guineas still run to her when they get startled.
