Will chickens eat popped water balloons?

My son was playing with balloons and now they are all over. Will chickens eat them? Can they be harmed if they do?

I wouldn't take a chance. If it is a small piece of balloon they just might. They are omnivores.

And yes, they will eat them and they can get stuck in their crop. Pick up all the pieces you can and make sure they have grit to grind up anything they might have gotten
