Yes, I'm aware they'll eat anything, so maybe this is a dumb question. I'm installing a window on an existing chicken coop so the chickens can have a view. I installed new glass in a few panes of an old window, which involved adding glazing putty around each pane. The putty takes 15 days to cure, so it's now still very mushy. I'm wondering 1) can I install the window before the putty has fully cured?, and 2) will they eat the putty even after it has hardened? I.e. Should I install the window with the glazing putty on the exterior? (it's kind of ugly, so I'd prefer not to.)
Thanks all!
