My silkies are destroying their pine and no matter what I use for a water “system” they fill it with pine about every 30 minutes. I purchased bird cage water silos and used mounting tape to install them in the brooder. I dipped beaks, but we don’t seem to get it. Any suggestions? Or is there a reason this isn’t working? lol

(Obvious newbie)Thank you!!!! lol
Newbie or not, there is a lot of different ideas you will see on here. You just have to choose what will work best for you!!

You can also hang some things(not the water) in the brooder, instead of on a platform as they get older. I have chick grit and fermented feed in the two hanging on the right. The blue pitcher is a horizontal nipple waterer, being introduced to the chicks. The tall feeder, is a no waste chick feeder.
