Will DE kill 'good' bugs?

If you sprinkle DE around the run, will it kill off the 'good' bugs/worms and what-not that chickens like to find and eat?

I believe it kills any bugs with an exoskeletion. So I think it will. I dont know about worms.

It's not supposed to be harmful to earthworms.
