I still plan to build a new duck pen and move everyone sometime this year (

I discovered 3 of those platic pre-formed ponds in an old shed so i want to use those.
but i am wondering what plants/shrubs/bushes/trees i can use in the pen that WONT get eaten by the ducks??

Will they eat Rhodies? there's a lot of free ones around here & we already have a few on the property that could possibly be relocated.

I find mine don't really trash any plants. They will tear the fruit off anything you can get. We had visitors the other day who got a great laugh out of watching my ducks jump up and grab chilli's off the bush and eat them. They couldn't get enough. Duck feeding frenzie lol.

Does anyone know if ducks will eat Rhododendrons or Azaleas??

I know Azaleas have more tender leaves then Rhodies but i don't know if they'll eat them or not.

Bleenie, Rhododendrons are one of the few plants that my Scovies pretty much leave alone. I have a few really large bushes. I do have one hardy Azalea that they did chew a few of the lower branches on but pretty much left that alone also. They did eat my hydrangia.

If your plants are "free" I'd go ahead and try them out.
