I have 8 hens and 1 rooster. All Rhode Island Reds. This past spring one of my hens hatched 4 eggs. 2 girls and 2 boys. They are now full grown and I have recently started letting them go outside with my 1st flock. They seem to stay to themselves while free ranging. My question is do chickens inbreed? Will the brothers mate with the sisters or mother? Sisters with the father? Do I need to separate or find homes for the chicks? Are the eggs safe to eat?

yes they will imbreed. yes the eggs are safe to eat. you should probably get rid of all but one rooster. more than one in a flock that small will probably end up in fighting.

Yes, they will. You should have ideally 1 roosters for your flock. You may find fights breaking out and they will only escalate. More than 1 rooster is usually too many roosters in a flock.
