Will hens kill my chicks?

I just put my 5-6 week old chicks outside in the chicken run. There is a barrier between the hens/rooster and the chicks, but there is a small chance one of the chicks could get in with the big chickens. If that happens, will they kill the chick?

If one of the chicks gets into the pen with the adult chickens, it is very likely that they will kill it.
