Will Hog ring pliers for J-clips?

I can't find any decent J clip pliers locally. I can, however, get hog ring pliers. Will they work for j-clips too?

I doubt that hog ring pliers will work for J-clips. I found some good J-clip pliers on line, but they were quite expensive. If I had it to do over, I would use hog rings and pliers. J-clips can be a nuisance to remove. Another vote for hog rings.

Thanks! They have hog rings and pliers at our Lowes, so we will go that route!
