This is my welsummer EE. Will she give me a dark olive egg? She is just 10 weeks old now.

Well she is just the cutest thing ever! Love the big beard.

When you say she is a Welsummer EE, what exactly does that mean? Was one parent an EE or a true Ameraucana? I believe that would make a difference.

I know that she is 1/2 welsummer, but i dont know if the other half was ameraucana or EE.

Depends on the quality of color in the EE genetics. I've got some from a local hatchery that lay a very poor quality color. Extremely pale slightly grayish blue. Mixed with a darker brown I don't think the color will even show. If the EE half had very good blue color then mixed with the brown you have at least a 50% chance of an olive egg. Otherwise you'll either just get a shade of brown near the color the welsummers have or some less obvious shade of green if the blue genetics aren't that good.
