Will it hurt if I?

I'm on day 14 in a LG stillair incubator, My eggs are just laying on the 1/4 inch hardware cloth that came with the bator. On lockdown will it hurt if I put the eggs, in egg carton bottoms to hatch. Please help.

I used to hatch with cartons all the time and some people swear by them. However, after reading that people had better hatches without them I stopped using them. And I have better hatches.

It won't hurt, but I generally let mine hatch on the side... You are turning them 3 times daily correct?

Yes I have been turning, Thanks for the help. I have hatched before, but I thought I might get better results, if i used the cartons. Thanks
