I was just wondering if relocating chickens, that are currently laying....will that set them back
or stress them enough to stop laying? I"ve recently (today) acquired 20 Shaver sex-link layers
from another farmer & wondered if the change in housing/feed....would affect their laying?
Hoping to find a few eggs in the morning

It really depends on your hens and how nutty they might be. I moved my coop yesterday, and while I was rolling it to its new area, my favorite australorp was following me and sqwaking up a storm. I stopped moving it, she went in, laid an egg and then went about her business.

She laid another egg today, and she seems fine with the move.. Other hens I have need stress therapy if I put their food six inches from the regular spot.

I do not see why it would effect them, except if the grass is dryer where you put it,... well hope you get nice and tastty eggs afterwoods
