This might be a stupid question, but please bear with me I'm new at this 
I noticed that some of my chickens have taken up sunbathing. My three sex links and my Australorp have been plopping over, one wing out, looking as if they've suddenly fallen either asleep or dead, all ruffled and comfy looking.
However, my Buff Orpington and three California Whites have yet to do anything like this.
Will white/lighter birds sunbathe, or is it more of a dark feathered bird thing? I tried looking at some pictures on here of sunbathers, and saw only black/blue/dark brown chooks participating!
Maybe it's just easier for the dark feathered birds to feel the warmth?
