Will my chicken come home?

How did it happen to get lost? Scared by a predator? Generally they come home at dusk or early morning the next day.

In Boulder CO: I have a white Amercauna to rehome. 1 1/2 years. She's smart & beautiful, but picks on just one of our other 6 girls. The one she picks on is a wimp, but we've had her longer. We think the white one is just jealous.

You might try putting the bully chicken in a dog crate inside the coop (if there's room) for about three days and nights and see if that helps. This can give the chicken that is being bullied time to gain confidence. If that does not help, repeat for another three days and nights. Be sure she has feed, water and grit and something to perch on. We had to do this with a bully hen and it really helped. Good luck!
