Will my Drake leave??

My hen just got taken by an owl or hawk. I raised this pair from babies. They were just getting to breeding age. Now she is gone, he is the only duck with 30 chickens. Will he be OK? Will he try to leave to find another mate? I can't find another hen like him ANY where..
