Hi, I have just recently purchased one Pekin egg off or Ebay. I know its not very reliable and odds are it won't hatch, but I thought I'd give it a try. I thought it would be pretty silly to buy an incubator for just one egg, since incubators are so expensive. I watched a few tutorials and decided to make my own incubator out of a styrofoam cooler. The egg that I ordered hasn't come yet so I thought I should set it up and make sure the temp/humidity is all set for when it arrives. That leads me to my question- will my egg be able to hatch if the humidity is around 39%? I've added sponges and pans of water and nothing seems to be rising the humidity. Also the temperature is ranging between 100-104%. Is this okay?

it is possible it will hatch but you will have to get it a couple of buddies ducks don't do well by themselves

the temp is supposed to be around 99-100 degrees and humidity should be OK for now but will have to be raised by 10-20% before lockdown

Thank you! I am planning on ordering a few more so it won't be alone!
