will my roo ever like my hens

I had to roosters so i gave the mean one away... he was the king of the roost.. I have another roo that likes 2 of my ducks... he won't have anything to do with my hens or other ducks... will he ever learn to like my hens(and leave the two ducks alone)... or is he a lost cause... he is very pretty just confused

When I gave my former alpha roo away, the girls were real resistant to the second roo and he was unsure what to do with them; never having had 14 hens to himself.
He got used to it and the girls finally figured out it was him or nothing.
Just give your roo time.

thanks... my girls were hanging around with him this morning...but he left them to be with his ducks
