Of the 7 Khaki Campbells (from Ideal-arrived today), this is the only one with a puff on her head. I looked closely by the skin and there is a thick connector running to it, so my guess is she is crested. Will this pose a problem with the chickens? ie:pecking Thanks

Yes she is crested. I don't own chickens, but I don't think the crest will make a difference on how they treat her. To them she will seem like the rest of the ducks.

There are definitely two separate spots, one on top and another to the side. I'm hoping maybe they will blend together as she grows.....if not she's going to look mighty funny.

I ordered regular Khaki Campbell pullets. Didn't even know there were crested until I saw her head and re-checked their website. I don't think I'd order from Ideal again or recommend them to anyone. The website said "males may be included for warmth" I didn't think they meant chickens! Now I have 4 roosters that aren't vaccinated for Mareks like my hens and have to worry about coccidiosis since I can't put medicated starter in with the ducks. UGH!

Warmth, ha....here let us give you our extra males to unnecessarily try and keep your ducks warm even know you didn't order them or want any males
